broke my gas pedal...

so i have been noticing alot of play in my gas pedal lately just thought i needed to adjust the cable. i was wrong... checked it out this morning and i found this...



almost all the way through



so i welded a 1/4" bar to the front side to reenforce it.. and i painted it a super sweet gold color left over from my wheels
