why?? Airbags are primarily liability devices to guard against lawsuits by those who do not wear, or wear properly, their seatbelts.

He wishes to slam his festy.. i hear plug and play kits are easy to install into most vehicles.
Shouldn't be any different.. just adds weight and is alot of cable work.

I ran them in the Pimptiva:

Kit ran $2,500 when I bought it... Sold it to a member on here who (to my knowledge), never installed it, and last I saw it was back for sale again. If you'd purchase from him, the bags and cylinders would probably both need replaced after sitting for 4+ years.

The kit installed pretty easily, with the exception up front. The front fender wall had to be cut, the bags rubbed on them when going up and down. We cut the wall out, welded a bar in place from the top of the strut tower to the engine mount/frame area, and then put a piece of plastic in place on the inside to keep the engine area clean if driving in the rain.

I'm sure the current owner of the car could take pictures of the work to give you an idea of what's needed.

Air was amazing... Very fun, turned heads, and actually rode pretty nice (when adjusted properly)...

And if you're talking about actual airbags (like that of a safety device from the steering wheel area), then disregard all the above.

ok, airbags are safety supplemental restraint devices. Air springs are pnuematic suspension components.

Yea I was completely confused for a minute. I was thinking more along the lines of a safety air bag instead of air ride suspension. Can't be too general there.

Yea sorry about that I put the.thread in the wrong section it should have been in the custom suspension section because I am talking about air springs. Nice ride Simon its too bad I never got to see it considering that I only lived a half hour away from one of the best looking festivals I've ever seen

Hey Bobby, I've got Simon's "Pimptiva" now, sans air ride of course. I probably wouldn't be much help to you since it's not on the car anymore, but like Simon said, if I can help you with pics of what he was referring to just let me know
