        I like both those mods.

I want to see a grille that has no lower beam (directly above the bumper, inline with the 'eyebrows') and no interior fill. Just the upper beam and the sides. I think that'd add an aggressive appearance.

That would be cool looking, however, I believe you would be able to see the bumper screws/clips then.

LOL mazda badge because BP and all B series motors are mazda... One of the few things that survived my crash lol i was missing a few clips and during the crash my grill flew like 25 feet (remained uncracked) and the badge went about 150 feet.

Pyro, the only two questions I have are:
                      1. do you like it?
                      2. can you make it look like the photoshop?

If the answer to those two are yes, then I say do it! I personally wouldn't run it on mine, but thats only because I think they did it exactly right the first time with the carbie grills and those (unmodded) are by far my favorite festiva grill of all time. But your design is both unique enough and clean enough that it doesn't look bad, just not my personal style for my cars. But I say if you like it, do it!
                      No festiva for me ATM...

I like it because its unique. As far as the guys who say it does not fit the body lines..etc. Well that is arguable. I agree the only two grills that would match the body lines are the original 88-89 grills and the 88-89 modded grill. IMO even the 90-93 stock grills dont match all that well. However, if you think about grills...thats the one thing that doesnt really have to match. People buy the billet grills and they dont match, but they look good becuz they are chrome...etc. I think it adds an agressive look to the front. Also, I can probably mod the bumper to match it a little more. As far as can i do it? I think i can. I dont think it would be all that hard to do. Even 45degree angles would look ok to me. I am undecided at this point, but I should come to a conclusion as soon as i get my bumper.

BTW, I personally dont think the spoiler (even though it is highly seeked upon) matches the festy lines. I think the spoiler i have on now, matches the body almost perfectly.

it is from a small hatch back VW...not sure which one. I did not have to mod it to fit....this is how it fit naturally, which was a big relief when I got it dry mounted. It is now mounted though (as seen in the pics). Personally it sits a little high for my liking, but i could not move it down because it would sit on top of the gasket. So, besides it not sitting a little lower, it is a perfect fit with no mods needed, other than drilling holes to mount it. I also replaced the screws on the back because I forgot to grab the nuts when I pulled it...ahahaha.

Let me know what you guys think.

                              here it is:
