  • Clear Headlights ?

Anyone seen Festiva headlight housings that do not have
the prism glass? The lense would be clear so that you
can look inside at the reflector(s). Many newer cars
have this feature with HID lighting.

Ranger headlights can be fitted with some modifications. They have clear lenses and if you're hinting at going HID, please please please check out hidplanet.com (forums like ours) to get ideas on installing legitimate projectors. There should be no other way. If you're interested, theretrofitsource.com is a great place to get parts.

I already have 100 watt HID high and low
If there is a OEM I would get that before
        I try glass cutting..

I put a projector into my snowmobile light and the HID
is incredible ! It looks funny though unless its running!
I did a HID conversion on a F250 with the clear lenses
and it was better but not like my projector. I have an
OEM Jag projector here on the bench and it is insane
bright. My ATV is insane I put a 35 watt conversion on
it and got 100 watt ballasts for it, awesome light. I was
afraid I might blow the bulbs up and ruin the housings
but the motor blew up instead.
I forgot about those clear lense fords and didn't know we
can retro them, but I should have said HID clear lights,
OEM like the saipa . Anything OEM, or has somebody a
        clean projector install ?

High beam ; Low beam..Looks like some others may be a sample ship or one.
I have been checking some of the newer rangers and explorers out, some differences
but they might be easier to fit. New ones from china might convert easier
as per hidplanet. The new projectors they have would mount way easier than
that big Jag one did. No one has projectors in a festy ?

i've been looking for aftermarket units that fit the B series trucks (the housings are shorter than the ranger units and should allow use of the eyelids without mods.)

will the prides ones fit if you had the pride grill and under head light filler piece?

I don't know, the curve from headlight to marker looks different in the pictures. The B series sounds promising, there are some out here, but not many. The rangers style
varies in height and shape. Some clear ones have orange markers at edges. Most ranger
ones would require ditching the filler under the headlight portion..

One of the things I did notice was that the angle on the lens was much more extreme than the Ranger, but another, more feasible solution comes to mind in that regard. Sedat said the angle of the Ranger lights was perfect but they are "too big" and they have the slight slant across the top. Depending on where that angle is compared to the slant, I believe that cutting the lenses down to the Festiva size and shape would allow you to get the clear lenses to fit. Then you just cut the Ranger round light housings out and insert them into the new Festiva light assembly.
