  • Ford Emblem on Hatch

    Anyone got an easy way to remove from the hatch, and then re-install on another? thnks

    I haven't looked. But it's probably just glued on.

    EVO deck'd out with Bruce Lee
    First time owner
    89 L carb'd - white / still needs work
    Bought for mpg and only paid $250

      Razor blade the double sided tape off ,their are also two small pins that go in their two
      work the blade around them with the razor blade then once you get the tape cut then slowly pry around the pins I ALSO use the razor blade for this to.
      Then just some more double sided tape to reinstall , I like the 3m stuff every good and wont absorb water.

              a heat gun helps a lot too (not needed but i prefer to use one)

                Heat gun (or hair drier if you like to aim at the same spot for too long) to loosen the glue and dental floss. Or maybe a gasket scraper made of plastic. A razor blade would do the trick but it's also a pretty good tool to remove paint.

                  Monofilament fishin' line & heatgun works great!
                  If it don't fit, use a bigger hammer!
