  • Got my hitch today!

I finally found a hitch that with a little fabricating I can make work on my festy. I'm not sure what it came off of I was at a flea market killing time before work and I saw a receiver hitch laying on the floor marked ”car hitch” so I went and got my tape measure and found it to be a little too long so I bought it with the hitch ball and about 10 feet of 4 flat wiring with the plug for 30 dollars so now to break out the torch, plasma, and welder and make it a bolt on receiver hitch for a festiva

Get the part number off of it! If it's that minorly adaptable, I may try it too!

I know it's a drawtite and for me lots of things are easily adaptable with a welder a torch and plasma.cutter

42 1/4" hook to hook roughly, flat stock works well for fabricating the mounting plates.

I could have sworn that I measured 40 inches from hook to hook on my 91 gl and I figured that I'd use the existing mounting plates from the hitch cut them up and repurpose them
