Has anyone tried putting mirrors from a 626 on a Festy? They are bigger mirrors but the mounting looks the same. It also has the dash clock, the bezel is different than a Festy though, if someone is interested.

I have a set of power mirrors off a '90 MX6 (the gen before the ones you're talking about) sitting in the basement. Looks like they will bolt up with one extra hole drilled. The plug is the same, and we all know the switches are the same as factory festiva. I haven't tried them yet, but maybe I will sometime lol. They look very similar to the factory festiva power non-swoopie mirrors, just a little bit... beefier. lol.
Also, the first gen MX6/626/protege dash clocks will bolt right up in the festiva, just need to find/make a bezel for it. I did one out of thin gauge aluminum once and painted it grey to match the dash. That was a long time ago though, and the only blue dash clock I ever found in a protege. Most are green or orange, which matches the factory festiva stuff nicely. I had a blue radio and a blue gauge cluster so the blue was a perfect fit.Last edited by htchbck; 03-21-2012, 06:36 AM.No festiva for me ATM...
