Okay I asked awhile back if you could use the rear seat belts, for manuals ones in the front, no one had tried it, and since I happen to have had the time today I did. They pretty much bolt up to the stock location for the motor of the old belts, the mounting point that is on the door pilar, and one bolt down by the seat. I will try and remember to get a picture tomorrow. This however has some flaws, because of the design the spindle part that holds the extra slack of the belt sits out so you would have to modify the interior plastic to let it be exposed, that or dont use the interior at all. Also you have to be real skinny inorder for the belt to fit:-) Im going to have a nut tacked to a whole that is about 10 inches higher than the orginal area the motor mounted in. This should give me plenty of slack, but again it will be exposed.
I figure if you weren't planning on using the rear interior pieces, or if you just needed them when you where in a state that does allow harness's on open roads, check your laws many don't, then these could be a quick option.
Im going to because my rear interior will be custome, so I wont have to worry about the plastic, and for the most part I will just be wearing my 5 point harness, once its in.
