    Racing Pedal Installation

    Could someone please give me some advice on installing a set of Racing Pedals to my festiva. I can purchase a set of 3A Racing Blue and Carbon Fiber Pedals fairly cheap from eBay. That would be one more mod off the future mods list .
    1995 Ford Festiva Trio Owner!!!!!
    Upgrades/Mods include Enkei Rims, OBX Racing Shift Knob, 2Fast 2Furious Seat Covers, Sparco Seatbelt Pads, Sparco and Enkei Decals and Spoiler.
    Future Upgrades include CD Player, Pod Filter, Racing Pedals.

      LOL :lol: , What i meant was will drilling holes in the actual levers cause any problems and will most size sets fit my cars levers (clutch, brake and gas).

        Drilling holes in your pedals will cause no harm, and the pedals covers should clear just fine, I seen it done before.

            The 3A Racing pedals that I'm considering purchasing have a clamp fitted (Clamp onto the rear of the pedal levers) system. Reliable or Not :?:

              NOT!! That's what mine were. (Clamp on) They eventually loosen. No matter how tight you get them.. The one on my clutch pedal came off and hung under the pedal.. That's when I decided to drill. And since mine had holes already in them, I just marked the holes with a sharpie and drilled.. You could put bolt/lockwashers and nuts on them and I'm sure they'd hold for a heck of a lot longer than the clamps.. I rivited mine knowing I could just grind off the rivit once they're worn out..

                I'd go for a higher quality cover. i got some momo diamond plate aluminum on ebay for like 15 bucks, screw mount. i wouldn't even mess with the cheapy clamp on stuff.
