  • Painted Rims....interesting color choice.

So....I started with this on Friday.

You can see above the dry spots in the bumper, thats they color of the bumpers when they dry. So basically faded grey like most festivas.

Then on Saturday we did this. My friends and i detailed and waxed the car, also putting on Vinyl Polish to darken up the bumpers. And just check out the results below.

All Day we were joking around that i should paint the rims. Black was the first thing that came to mind, then white, then.....

    So here it is.

My Friend Matt has dubbed the car.

    The Blueberry Watermelon Smoothie Festiva.

Heres my friend Matt who approves of the color.

Welp, im sure these color choices will get some looks. But until i can do either a front suspension swap, or get new rims; they will remain Watermelon. "Pink"

I approve as well! Just clean the tires and put some tire shine on them

I can't believe I'm saying this, but that looks okay! I'd even go so far as to put a set of trim rings on it!

^^ No, no trim rings... those are only for black wheels. But those wheels do go well with the stripe... nicely done!
              No festiva for me ATM...

Dig it, especially since it matches the stripe!

                          I like it.

I once painted a whole house in "teenybopper pink with disco fever purple trim." Those were official names of colors available from Home Depot.
