          Something I forgot to mention.
          All that stuff cost $55 from harbor freight. Plus another $15 for the box fan from Lowes.

          Now all I need is paint and that spry gun which I saw at Lowes for $70.

              Made some progress today. Sanded most of the car in 60 with an orbit sander. Still need to do passanger side door and rear. Also the back door and part of roof is left.

              Pictures will come, the problem is the my computer commit suicide. and I don't want to use my tablet camera.
              It will suposably be fixed by then end of this week.

              I might go to farm this week and do some work , depending if my mom wants to drive there and back and stay there for a wile.

                Alright so now it is time for me paint.
                What electric sprayer do you recommend? …I heard that the Wagner is not good.
                Also what paint should I get? I heard that enamel is good.
                Help!!!!!

                  painting car

                  wagner is best. [more volume] get some rustoleum enamel [at lowes] and thinner,and a couple paint filters.and a pair of rubber gloves. i get a rustoleum color,in a gallon can,and 2 spray cans of same color. i use spray cans,for doors,later. have a test area,to get used to gun. [plywood] keep gun 12 inches from car. spray in overlapping steady passes. remember,do lite coats 2 hrs apart . watch for runs

                    Ok and that means I would not need a clear coat?

                      If you've been using 60 grit sandpaper and an orbital sander you are not ready to paint. It's not a fence!

                        georgeb.....thats funny.....I used to work at a body shop that would use 220 as their final sand paper.....then they'd shoot it......what awful memories. I couldn't believe it.....and they were charging for that kind of work. Your message brought back memories and made me laugh. Awesome.

                          my two cents

                          kx4xyx......
                          I've been working on my Festy for months....after work, days off etc. I've got some experience painting...so, for what its worth:

                          when prepping a surface for paint....if you've removed material with your 60 grit paper/and I'm sure you have......it needs to be replaced and that is one of purposes of primer. So I'd recommend priming even if you don't get to the metal. If you don't primer the surface and sand it and primer again, you're leave a low spot and you'll see it....especially if you're doing that dark blue you pictured. If you're using the tools pictured, I'd go with a lighter color as they show less detail and imperfections. A dark color will show sand scratches and low spots.

                          Like I said....just my two cents.

                            Yes I see. Well I know I will go over it again with 100 and again with 220 and then 320.
                            Maybe a light coat of primer?
                            Ill look into a lighter colour to see if I like any of them.

                              60 grit... wow! I work at a bodyshop and all the final sanding is done with 320. Blocking out the primer before painting. Generally we finish out our filler work with 150-220 grit, I usually 320 around the filler area to take out leftover 150 grit scratches. I like to do it right, it pays in the end to take your time and do things proper. Prep work is the most important thing about painting. Also the color you showed you wanted it to be, that can only be acchieved with BC/CC (Basecoat clearcoat) paint job. Feel free to ask any questions if you have more..
