  • Anyone deal with this paint touch up company?

It's got proper codes for 1991 and later Festivas:

The link should go to the 1993 Festiva codes. (Earlier than '91 and they have all the Ford codes, so you'll have to know your color.) I may try this route to finish up my "new" Prettystiva ("aqua") after bodywork and repairs.

I could also get "surf blue" for AquaMutt!

Small touch up bottles in 1/2 and 2 ounces, spray paint, and paint cans for sprayers.

Anyone deal with them? What do you think?

There is a place near me in parkersburg where I work that will mix paint for you based off the paint code on your door jamb sticker, and put it in tall aerosol cans. If you want I can give them a call and get an estimate and more details for you with the paint code on prettystiva.

A guy I work with just bondo'd some holes on his 01 dodge ram and they charged him something to the tune of 20$ a can for the metallic gray paint. The paint matched, but he used a light gray/whiteish colored primer instead of dark like the factory red primer, so if you look at it just right in the sunlight you can see his primer.

$20 an aerosol seems reasonable. The real question is how good is the color match and what does the travel look like as compared against the factory electrostatic paint job. I am looking for a Camry GPS antenna to spray. Remember that the aluminum flake in metallic paint tends to stand up in an electrostatic application and lie flat in an air spray application.

^ that is the question isn't it! But, after 20 years of sunbaking, nothing but a full on paint job will be perfect.

Our local auto parts store provides the same for a little less. I like that. They
have two "special auto body" people that can help a lot.
Nothing can compare to a really good pro, every coat is matched to the factory
smoothness, the angles are right so that colors match in the sunlight, and if the
body work is not perfect they chew someone a new one and make them fix it.

We, knowing this, will do the best we can and enjoy the vast improvement
            over what we had.

Ha! I'll have a fender to do as well on Prettystiva. Right front, color "Aqua."

I could do Muttstiva too, as she's "surf blue," but Mutts get what's on sale and they like it.
