  • Got an issue? Grab a tissue! The Tissue Wheel

Credit goes to Saftey Guy Karl, it was his idea(as far as I know), I just had the stuff laying around to make it happen.

Fits an aspire for sure, so I think it would fit a Festiva, haven't taken a festy steering wheel off yet.

Yes, yes it was. but the steering wheel is awesome, no matter what anybody says.

hmmm i see this being turned into an anti-theft device... pepper spray in the spot with the tissues on a wired up rig to go off if the car is started without hitting a hidden switch to cut it off???

I like it... but I'd rather it be a magazine dispenser or something. I planned on gutting a steering wheel to put my extra mags in there someday.

They're generally in the glove box now, but I don't like them sliding around in there among everything else, and I can't leave them in the coin tray because I don't want them out in the open like that. Having the gun on me is enough to tick people off sometimes, having 4-8 extra mags full of 9mm probably would send someone straight to the nearest restroom to have a baby and call the cops.

Good grief man, you are REALLY ready for the zombies!

I think tissue in the steering wheel is cool...

For girls, and 90 year old men! Cmon, guys, that is what a hanky is for!

Now, using a hollowed out steering wheel is something I hadn't thought of. I might be able to come up with a few ideas...

Still, congrats for making it happen, and don't let us downers bring ya down, you just keep on making the ideas happen!

There's plenty of room inside the ex-airbag wheels for whatever you want to put in there. I just haven't thought of anything yet that I need to use it for lol.
                    No festiva for me ATM...

So the peanut gallery doesn't like my EXCELLENT idea!

I suppose no one ever has colds, allergies, or gets all teary eyed thinking about Old Yeller getting offed before his time!

We'll see if that fits Prettystiva. If so, I may buy it off ya Matt.

For all you zombie hunting, box magazine hoarding, pepper spray booby-trapping complainers, I'll call this feature a

"TACTICAL TISSUE POUCH." It's there for me after I have to shoot someone trying to jack my precious Prettystiva. When the cops pull up and want to know what happened, I'll tell them (through several tissues and a lot of tears thinking about poor Old Yeller), "oh officers, I'm too emotionally wounded and amygdally distressed right now. I'll give a statement after I get checked at the hospital and consult with my LAWYER."

                        SO THERE!

                        Karl

PS: To any future investigators, jurors and my future biographer, this is a JOKE, okay?
'93GL "Prettystiva" ticking B3 and 5 speed, backup DD; full swaps in spring!
                        '91L "AquaMutt" my '91L; B6 swap/5 speed & Aspire brakes, DD/work car
'92L "Twinstiva" 5sp, salvage titled, waiting for repairs...
                        '93GL "Luxstiva," '94 B6 engine & ATX; needs overhauled
'89L "Muttstiva," now a storage bin, future trailer project

lol, it is a good idea, unique to say the least, and since festys don't have airbags anyway, it's not sacrificing saftey. I do like the idea of the glove dispenser, but that would be kinda weird in a car, unless your a doctor..or something.
