  • possible console swaps?

    Hey guys and gals,

Just curious to know if there is a complete centre console swapover (or swappable console without too much modifications) that would fit in a 1991 festiva?

what i want from my console is the following:- push open cubby, Drink holders, gear stick hole, possibly other container/section, gearstick area and also armrest.

any ideas on this as to what would be an awesome or ideal swapover?

just found these on ebay and thought these would be nice if you didn't want the cubby at the bottom

also i hear the gen 1 mazda 121 or 323 consoles were an ideal swap as they not only had the push open console (where the cubby sits, but they had drink holders as well (or is my memory being too optimistic again!!?!?!?)

I think someone has swapped an escort console without too much work

    1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
    1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

The Saipa Nasim console should be a direct fit.

Unfortunately shipping from Iran to Australia would be a killer.

Discuss enhancing your Festiva or Aspire interior and exterior (including custom paint, bodywork, seats, etc)

Here is the link for the Escort Auto console. I'm not sure in the manual would work as well, but it looks awesome!
