This is easy and cheap... costs about the price of a can of paint and a roll of masking tape and only take about 15 mins... unless you count the time it takes the paint to dry
just make sure to do a coat of black underneath whatever color you are going to use, to ensure that the light doesn't shine through the paint at night... kinda makes them look not very cool with the light showing through the paint. I have smooth ones on there now, painted, and they look even betterNo festiva for me ATM...

i figured now would be a time to toss this out there, im painting a bunch of stuff on my car (painting the bumpers black). I am also going to smoke out the turn signal and reverse light on the tail lights, smoke out the front bumper lights and the corner signals. I am going to be interesting with how they look. so far photoshopping them looks good :-pIan Carr

what do you use to get the smoked look? is that legal in all states i wonder. :?: guess i better check before i smoke..
yeah that would look good, be unique. what are you using to paint the bumpers. when mine was repainted before i got it they didn't repaint the red bumpers. maybe scared the paint wouldn't stay on, or didn't care they were faded."We can judge the heart of a man by his treatment of animals." -Mohandas Gandhi

I used Dupli-color from Advance Auto (about $4 per can, but 4 cans did the whole car)... its the same stuff I painted the whole car with a while back. It's held up pretty well, considering I did a very crappy job of painting it because I'm waiting till I'm completely done with all the body work and reinforcement involved with having a convertible before I do a serious paint job on it. Here's the smooths painted up...
No festiva for me ATM...

both style lights look good. are you going to stay with about the same color when you repaint? when i get to the repainting stage i'm not sure what color i will select. mine is red now and i like the fire engine red alot, but also debated on a color different than everyone else has. I'm along way from that stage anyway at my snails pace."We can judge the heart of a man by his treatment of animals." -Mohandas Gandhi
