  • Stuck in 3 feet of snow in the dark!

I had to replace some brake parts on the Sno-Cat and it took WAYYY longer than it
should have, some mods were needed. I forgot my high powered magnetic stream light
and was stuck with a old fashioned mag light, pretty much a pain...

Does anyone use their Festiva for work..and find they need lighting? I would like to see
light under the hatch ..I was working on rags stacked over the latch. Any tool box-work
bench mods to fit this area? The snow was near white out so I needed the shelter of the hatch.
The rear cargo light is useless as well but a LED lighting system wired off that would be cool.
    Anyone?

i've been thinking about a similar mod myself to the hatch and subsequently the hood as well. there are some very bright LED stips that we sell at work that i think would do the trick.

I had a customer come in that has LED everything on his
super duty . He recently found a under hood LED kit
that has 4 pods of lights, each pod has 16 bright LED's
in a square, they light up the entire under hood very well!

I will see if I can dig up some links or pics..
      Any pics?

Movin, this is my work car, i also take along a large tray of chemicals that i do bring in the house at the end of the day so things don't freeze. I did buy some stick on tap lights, three that ran down the center. I do like the lights you have found so thats the way i will probably go and thanks for the links. Here is my work Festy shelves and all, it can hold alot more tools it just depends on the job i'm headed to.
