Yes thery are the late 90s, early 2000s park aves. Should have a round snap in switch with hi/lo. If you look under the seat and see a small box with GM on it then your golden. I paid $14 for the whole setup and took 10 min to do.

bravezovak, yes that is a factory heated switch but not the one i used. I stand corrected that the Park Ave did have the occasional heated leather from the factory as well as the add-on setup. Seems strange they would have both options.

Yes, I believe Lexus or Infinity has a seat with fans in it, designed to cool your back when you're a bit sweaty.

If anyone is looking for a factory fit heated seat kit, some early Ford laser/Mazda 323 (ghia/super deluxe) came with heated seats.
They have a small control unit located under the drivers seat iirc. This unit also controlled power windows, power mirrors, and a few other doodads that the ghia came with.
I've only seen this once in a ka meteor (laser sedan) 12 years ago. That car is now at the bottom of a cliff or junkyard. Can't remember clearly.
But I know there's more out there. Still very rare though.

lots of manufacturers have heated and cooled seats. Ford/Lincoln had them as far back as '98. The two modes can be accomplished one of two ways; ducting of climate control air (heat or a/c) into perforated seat foam and upholstry. Or, use of a Peltier device in each seat, using a small fan to force air from the Peltier device into the perf'd seat. The Peltier device is operated separate from the climate control system.
