Theresgabe, I'm hopefully picking up this brand new Grant Steering wheel tomorrow morning for 35. I'm just needing that installation/horn kit drumnerd posted.

Those are awesome. I have one.
In love with a MadScientist!:thumbright: There's a fine line between breathtaking ingenuity and "That's the stupidest thing I've ever seen!"
I'll go ahead and use this moment to push the Rio strut mounts. Guys, if you're not using them, you're missing out. The increase in responsiveness is amazing, and you no longer have to fight your steering wheel to slalom. It makes parking much easier as well.
You and your RIO STRUTS!!!
I want some. lol ..... Too lazy to go get a set !
Gabe... that is a very cool wheel!
Remarkably like mine..... I like the all black look of your's. I havent seen that color before.

ummmm thats the install kit... it has a pic of the adapter, i used this exact kit and it works perfect... the guy bought a grant wheel already and this kit is made for that wheel
Ok... in my opinion, this looks NOTHING like what I used. I don't see anything in the picture on that link that shows the metal big chunk piece that sticks out so you don't hit the blinker switch.
This is what the adapter on my car looks like. It's like 4" thick.
Re: New Steering Wheel! My favorite interior mod EVER!
There's Gabe you have to understand that the grant wheel is not built the same as the wheel you have, if you were to look at the side of the wheel it sticks out by itself quite a bit and then the adapter brings it out some more just not as much as your adapter because your wheel is flat
Re: New Steering Wheel! My favorite interior mod EVER!
If I remember correctly on this wheel the horn was a little tricky... There is a spacer between the two sets of spokes and then the horn you have to kinda have everything in the right place then the button just kinda snaps in...
Actually I have not compared it to the stock wheel yet. It appeared to be close to the same size...but I don't know. Probably is a bit smaller. I found it randomly for sale on my small towns local classified page. rollanet.org Guy was wanting $55 for it and it came with the Jeep adapter kit. I asked if he'd take 35 without the kit and he said yes. I had two 5s in my wallet and took out 40 bucks at the ATM and realized with it giving me two 20s I couldn't give him 35. He said he'd take 30 so I didn't have to into Country Mart and buy something to get some change.
So how is the quality of the wheel you got off ebay? Like does it feel solid, or does it bend like say when you grab the wheel while getting in the car?
I was just reading over on a Integra forum about them bending really easy.
Those rich brats on there keep saying "Name brand, buy name brand, don't come crying when you wheel is bent or breaks off and you go off into oncoming traffic."
But none of them have actually used them, they just believe a youtube video of some guy yanking on a fake Lardi wheel.
Yeah $#@# paying $150+ on a steering wheel, not for a piece of metal with cloth on it. I don't see how SPARCO and MOMO get away with selling steering wheels for $200-$300.

Awesome +1 for cheap chinese steering wheels, 0 for name brand.
