My friends have used it. They used it to look at how flat black wheels would look (didn't like it and peeled it off). Also, because we are infinitely mature there has been the occasional gentleman's sausage painted on a car. You can rub it off or wait for it to wear off. Not sure if there is any long term damage to paint.

I just googled pictures of "plastidip cars" and it looks like it comes out pretty decent. I like the matte color finish that it leaves

My new Festiva has a full plasti-dip paint job. I can get pics if you want. It's starting to peel on its own. I would just use real paint. Rustoleum is good.
Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.

Yea if you could send me some pics that would be awesome! Peeling was one of my concerns of doing it, but like i said i like the matte finish it gives.

It usually only peels for 2 reasons 1. the car was not thoroughly cleaned before spray or 2. the plastidip gets a cut or damage so stuff gets under it. My friend drives a black 2013 Hyundai Veloster with the rims and all of the insignia plastidipped black. It looks awasome, and has thus far survived a pretty crazy winter with ZERO issues. My dash panels on my car are done in white plastidip. I've used the product for years, for waterproofing electronics inside of R/C cars/boats/planes... If you do it right, it's the best. Try it before going the rustoleum route...

Sketchman, that looks pretty good actually besides where its peeling. How long have you had it on? Also what is the yellow wire throughout your engine bay?
