  • Painted the bumper back to black

My bumper was in pretty bad shape, compared to the car, so when I bought some pads and rotors I decided to get some duplicolor bumper spray.... reason I chose this over plastidip (if anyone cares, lol) is because after some research plastidip will start to peel off if you get a few decent rock chips in it, I didn't want just regular spray paint because I didn't think it would look right (not sure the reasoning behind this as it looks as though I used regular rattle can); in either case, I think it turned out pretty nice, figured I'd let y'all see...

It looks like there's some glare in the photos, but the bumpers are solid black with the exception of one or two little (slightly bigger than pin point) imperfections I couldn't take care of for some reason... I'm on the fence about the pin stripe, if anyone else has done it and has some pictures (preferably of a red car with black bumpers and a red pinstripe [I know, beggers can't be chooser])

    Anyway, hope you like it

Thanks y'all, yeah, looking over plastidip posts (I can't remember if they were here) I saw a bunch of people saying stuff like "be careful of any chipping or bumping into it, because if there's a small tear in it, it'll all start to peel off"
Stuff like that... and like I said, regular rattle can would have been like $.98/can (used two cans), but I figured the duplicolor bumper spray might look/hold up better ($6.99/can)

Good job! That may also look better than the "Restore Black" gel I used on mine.
