i got the bug again and starting on my festiva i am working on a wide body so my tires dont stick out i should be done by the end of the month. i am just looking to make it look clean heres a sneak peak

You are going to go to all that trouble (and making perfect curves and smooth joints and flowing lines is a black art) and likely as not first time out in a parking lot some SOB is going to open his door hard and leave you crying!
At the same time I'm going to keep my fingers crossed for you that the bondo doesn't have to go on really thick because that stuff crazes with age and temperature changes.

I have not figured out why ppl don't just go grab a junker and cut the rear panels out, space them from the stock panels and tapper the ends, glass, fill, prime, paint? why reinvent the wheel?
In fact don't even tapper the rear, just make it look vented...
