    Which is better for painting a car, HVLP or gravity feed?

    As far as I know all hvlp are gravity feed. Here look at this site. http://www.autobodytoolmart.com/dent8.html

      Hvlp high pressure low volume and gravity feed are the same.
      Siphon is the other type your not really able to use them any longer epa
      band them they produce to much over spray. ( you have to use much more air pressure vs an hvlp gun

          Hvlp guns can run by gravity feed, suction, or by a pressure pot.
          There are also guns similar to hvlp called turbine sprayers which are interesting in their own way.
          Running 40psi.....in my tires.
