  • B3 cam shift knobs

This is something I saw on a Honda forum awhile ago and wanted to do it ever since. I pulled the cam from my B3, chopped it in 4 pieces, cleaned up my cuts with a flapper disk and drilled out a hole to be threaded.

Now I just need to know what thread pitch the festy is so I can tap them, I have a civic short throw so the one I'll be keeping will be tapped for 10x1.5.

This should give you an idea of how it would look installed.
I PM'd gauge_half_inch about having them powder coated and he told me it would be around 25 each

Heres an idea of what they'd look like PC'd

My stock Festy knob fit on my Civic ST just fine.
Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.

Stock Festiva shifter thread: M10 1.25

Just checked on my Dad's car. He's got a golfball for a shiftknob that comes off easy, haha.

As a reference for the thread pitch, its the same as the cam bolt Haha..

Judging by the first picture you'd have a visual reminder to change the oil more often!
