As the subject suggests, I am having two issues with my latest acquisition and project car. The first is that I can't figure out what color it is because my door jam sticker is totally faded and blank. I've narrowed it down to either A1 Silver Metallic or B1 Graphite Metallic.
The next issue I'm having is finding paint in a spray can for it. I have some light touch-ups to do on various rusting spots that requires a little paint, and I don't want to have anything pricey done like custom mixing and the like. Because it is tricky to ship spray paint internationally, it must be something I can acquire locally. In the past, I've had success with Duplicolor's Oxford White color of the Perfect Match product, but that's for my white car obviously.
Duplicolor Perfect Match
No sign of A1 or B1. Here's what they have for 2002 & prior Fords:
TS Silver Frost
J,1G Silver M
1B Medium Charcoal M
1E Silver
D1, YN, 1Q, 9Z Silver Charcoal M
JP Silver Birch
CX Dk. Shadow Gray
Plastikote Touch-up Spray Paint
Again, no sign of A1 or B1. Here's what they have for 1998 & prior Fords:
1E - Silver
TS - Silver Frost Pearl Metallic
J - Silver Metallic
14 - Silver Metallic BC
Any thoughts or ideas? I guess grey primer won't be the ugliest thing ever, but I'd love to have some paint to throw on it!
