  • Shaved Door handles and key locks

well if you look at mine you will notice that all locks and handles are shaved all the way around, thanks to the previous owner :-) Its really simple to put a door popper kit in, I just one of the AutoLoc ones, they are extremely well known, alittle pricey though. If you want to just shave it with a cheap kit, ebay has lots, just remember that without and door handles or locks, once its shaved you can only open it with the door poppers :-) That or a jimmy.

The poppers (soleniods) connect with a wire, or little metal rod to the inside of the door latch mechanism, and they pull it when you push the button on the remote. There is also a small spring loaded push rod you have to install in the bottom of the door, this pushes the door about 1.2 inch out when you pop the lock, so it doesn't relatch.

The system in my car came with a built in alarm system, which is disconnected at the moment. I can't remember the name brand, pm if you need more.

Thanks for the advice I will look into that when I get home I am hopefully going to turn my car into a bullet literally painted like it and all I will be unique at least. I am also going with a smooth body kit so it is a little more agressive but looks more like a bullet

hell no, I like the angry bruised orange fruit look :-)

I actually am waiting on the rest of the body work till I get a rear spoiler. But the bumpers will probably stay black (even after I put my custome body kit on) because they match the tint, and rims. The hood might got B6 ford orange like the rest of the car though.

you may want to re-activate that system or there might be another engine swap at a FF.com meet in the future

dj, it would cost you more than 50 bucks to get your hands on my engine this time. You have two nuts, so don't worry you didn't need both anyways, remember that :-)  :sign3:

Shaved doors were by far the best mod I did to that car. Such a nice clean body after the handles and locks (and gas tank door) were gone.
