  • Coolbox mod.

i have an idea for a makeshift "coolbox mod"

use two dashtray innards and slice the bottom off one and the top off the other, glue them together, dremel grooves into the newly formed tray and then add lid.. ahhh but where do i get a lid from you ask

go to this website http://www2.plala.or.jp/office-y/mazda.htm and order one .. the part number you'll need is The cool box lid (60-850).. last time i checked they were available and at $167.00 plus shipping

the parts page you'll need for reference is:

    good luck and godspeed.

however, i will say that this mod will be dependant on lid size and if it will fit the dashtray "ring"

    however, i digress..

leave it with me and i'll see what i can do.

yeah true that... i was also thinking of using two dashtrays and cutting off the bottom and top of one each and glueing them together to make a dashbox.
