  • First gen probe steering wheel and console, just a mx-6 in almost all ways, correct?

Steering wheel is same spline as mazda and festiva? Does the mazda center pad and horn button from another car fasten to a ford probe wheel? a few first gen probes with rather clean interiors out my way. Non-airbag of course. I\m having a hard time finding an OEM wheel with a center horn button. Aftermarket is probably a bad idea, I don't want the wheel even closer to me, im 6'5".

I know the first and second gen mx6/626 wheels will fit a festiva, but the horn rings do not match up. What you want is a 1G Protege wheel with the center horn button. Ring lines up and everything, no modding necessary.
    No festiva for me ATM...

I have the steering wheel from a 89-92 ford probe on my festiva. Fit perfect, horn works. It looks like this, though:

I took the wheel off an 88 Mercury Tracer at the Junk yard today. It looks like the very same wheel design but with the Mercury logo instead of Ford.

Thanks guys, got more options now. Most jy cars sit and sit in the sun so the wheels out of most are terrible. im just wary of doing the $40 hub and 6 tiny screws jdm wheel with no power steering and wide tires. Increased effort is bad
