custom tube doors

I can use my old high school shop to get tube doors made like they have on jeeps for free but I need to draw up a design with exact domenchions so someone have a pic of there festy without the doors so I can get a design layout ill also be making the stock festy doors attach the same as jeeps also. If. I have time ill try to make a tube rear hatch too to lighten weight for summer driving. got a sick design for it but need pics of all the doors and hatch off since I don't want to pull my doors off with the snow out side!!

dark lines are 1 1/4" steel pipe will put a tire mount too cuz a fill size spare would be nice to have with the car also ill redo it with graph paper and get exact scale and lengths so it will be cut and then tig welded, hatch lock ill try a gate lock or rig a festy rear hatch lock on it. I think it would look sick but that's just me lol

I'm not sure how legal tube door would be on a Festiva. I think the vehicle has to be of a certain height and possibly in the "Truck" category. Might wanna check out your local laws.

It's legal to drive in Indiana without doors. Or so I assume, there's a guy locally with a mid-90's LeSabre with no hood, doors, trunk lid, or grill.

Looks like he's hit a few deer (also, I assume deer), too..

Jeeps arnt actually ligal to drive with out doors with exception of cj's cuz they had an option to buy them new with out doors. But its legal to have tube doors on all other jeeps. The strict states I read (NOT nebraska) has it so the door has to go to the hip which is where the top part of the door will hit. Another choice I can do is take a second set of festy doors and cut down the door like the rock crawler trucks doo. But basicallly as long as I have it to my hip its legal in every state with the tube doors

doors would look like this on the festy, bumper is 90% made, every thang else (back hatch,light bar) will be getting done after the doors but is about 60$ of 1"x1/8" steel pipe

P.s. didn't have a real pic of a festy with doors of so I made one with the doors off don't judge haha but a real pic would help a lot yet!!
