  • taurus sho console in festy

Well after making my own console for the shogun , I thought that it sucked and tried the 92-95 taurus sho console. I fabbed a plate over it (will be carpeted) to make a hole for my double bin alpine radio.

NOTE: this is FAR from plug and play , welding required , plus under this its a Audi cable shifter - not sure if this would work with stock shifter. This is with pontiac aveo seats , not the stock seats - so again , i donno if it fits in a stock festy.

Wow! Lots of work. I can't imagine all of that fabrication unless I had a monster 3D modelling printer. I agree with SHO, the biggest mistake that the designers did with the dash is not allowing for a double DIN (Initials of the German standards institute: Deutsches Institut für Normung) opening.

You are a bear for punishment! This baby is gonna glow in the dark, if it ever gets on the road. But you have 1000X the dedication and patience that I have!

Not taking away from pheonix efforts which runs circles around my quick fixes but a year 2000 civic has a low low double din audio package option, armrest and ebrake linear not offset...i plan to mock that one up

Yes I understand as you stated your selection probably won't fit festivas the same because you have a lot of cables brackets and fabrication going on under your console which looks a lot less deep
