Anything you want could fit. Just pull the hog rings on the bottom cushion and bolt the back to the Festiva base of whatever seat you find. Zip tie the bottom cushion back on and your good to go. mx3 seats escort.

so your mx3 seats are on the festiva bottom pan? and the mx3 back bolted straight up to it? I was going to do it with a pair of 91 mustang lx seats but the lx seats are smaller than the festiva seats there for the back will not bolt up. I know how to change upholstery just was wanting to know what's been proven to work and what works well in the festiva. thanks for your reply,i had a mx3 in the 90's and it was a great car and the seats were great

If you ever get a chance to sit in an old Tiburon, let me know if it isn't one of the most comfortable leather seats you have ever sat in. By the way, the seat belt buckle is always in the same place. It is part of the seat.

are these all using the festiva seat mounting points? I see the the 1995 up prelude seats still have there bottom, I had a prelude before good car also had those seats in a crx. the Tiburon I had one of those for a week then decided to take it back but mine had cloth seats if I recall correctly. anyone got anymore seat swap pics there is one on here that says another protégé seat swap but the seat looks lik an old mx6 seat

You should use the Festiva seat mounting points and fab brackets to match.
You can weld or rivet the brackets to the seat tracks. I prefer 5/16" solid rivetting.

^Yes. What he said. It's cool to have an easy swap with the stock bottom frame, but the stock sliders suck. So in the long run I like the idea of a new/ish bottom frame. I've never sat in a Tib, but BK's looks great. The MX3s are really good too. Comfy as well.
Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.
