eurotiva thanks that would be cool to see I thought the escort wagon seats looked good and most of the people who drive wagons are older and take better care of their cars, also was looking at the focus but do not know if they would work.

Aspire and Festy front seats (but not the mounting brackets) are very much the same (I disassembled an Aspire a few years ago) except that there is no vinyl to crack and peel on some of the Aspire versions. Myself am looking around for 323 or Protege seats. Obviously you'll want to swap over the better profiled foam backing too.

I did the aspire swap. Much more comfortable. I drive 63 miles a day no problems.

it needed a small tab on the back and then on the front I needed to build an upside down L shaped bracket... Took some welding and its not perfect yet but the plan is to make a prettier set this spring when she comes out of hibernation...Either that or I am gonna take the festy seats apart and weld the festy brackets to the the spec seats...

thanks for the great pics and options the 91 mustang lx seats were smaller than the festiva seats and none of the mounting holes were no were close. torque the first pic is the rear near the door, the second pic is the front, and the last is the rear one near center console? is that correct? anyone know if the pic in the thread title another protégé seat swap is protégé seats or mx6 seats they look really good but I've never seen protégé seats have the halo headrest but they do look like mx6 seats and thanks again for the pics and suggestions anyone else have anymore options?

The Prelude seats fit in rather well. You do need to fab some steel tabs with some strips of steel to help mount them, but doesn't require welding.
Here are some pictures of the tabs I made.

The back inner mount fits in like normal.

^Yes. What he said. It's cool to have an easy swap with the stock bottom frame, but the stock sliders suck. So in the long run I like the idea of a new/ish bottom frame. I've never sat in a Tib, but BK's looks great. The MX3s are really good too. Comfy as well.
