Any ideas on part numbers for the shelf with the speakers or the rear speaker housings.. I like the idea of a dual set of rear speakers.

can't tell from the catalog if the speakers are included. it's in japanese but here are 2 part#s for it. D001 V1 310R60. D040 V1 310R20. these are mazda #s for JDM accessories. doubt if they are available but it would be pretty easy to duplicate with some extra shelf cloth.

I put 5x7's in one of the cargo covers I had. It was ok but got pretty flimsy after a while. They just arent made to support that weight.

I've done something similar with 6x9s...

Please excuse the dirty back seat... ops:

The shelf is made with 1/2" plywood with a 1x3 brace across the bottom. I'm planning on rebuilding it with thicker material and incorporating actual boxes for each speaker.

guessin the JDM shelf is a base. THEN you mount your speakers.

It blows my mind all the cool stuff they made for these cars. Just when you think you've seen it all, a post comes up like this one. I still cant get over the little refrigerators they had for beverages.

Does it mention the part numbers for the equalizers/speakers/etc?
