    Body work/ Painting

    Well I know the owner of the body shop next door to the place I sometimes work and I talked to him yesterday, he will make my car like new, fix damage, repaint, paint graphics on my car and clearcoat the whole thing eather on the side or for a reduced price.....

    R.I.P '91 Ford Escort GT w/ bad engine..... stripping for parts then off to the scrapper!

    Awesome!!!! I will be doing the same only good thing my dad did auto body work 30 years and I worked with him 5 so be doing it myself.

        Body work/ Painting

        I painted mine the first time it came out pretty good. Had some errors wet sanding. I bought new fenders up front and did a little body work. It didn't need much. Especially if you will be keeping the car. Even if you have to sell it in a pinch it will be worth more. Time materials and money it cost me $1500 last time. It's worth it I think when people see the car and they have no idea what it is.

              Can you not just buy the zipper vinyl graphics? Just in case you change your mind later on. You can even put them on your roof.

                      image.jpgimage.jpg that's the car I'm restoring. Just got it from Washington. I'll be painting it and putting my custom engine and tranny in it but I'm stuck. What should I do for paint. Leave it red. Or paint it blue. Need some input. And open to other recommendations(:
