  • What accent colors do you like?

I have a white car that I am building. It has the GL blue striped interior. I am looking to do some extensive customizing under the hood and some other parts as well. For example the valve cover, and some of the turbo accessories, the custom fender braces I made, and other misc. pieces. Again my car is white with a blue stripe interior. What colors do you all prefer? I will be doing powder coating, buying some anodized stuff, painting etc. etc.

I know blue is oft done by the masses but I do like it. Have thought about red, but that is also sort of cliché. Gunmetal Grey? White? Not black and no oddball colors. Whattya' Think.

I'm a chrome and bronze lover myself. Gunmetal grey is never bad when it's a nice (not pearlized, but the really sparkly kind).

I think a British racing green is always good on almost any vehicle. with a tan interior.....i'm assuming you're going to do some interior change also.
Then I like a flat green too.....and thirdly.....any version of orange is cool. My two cents.

Why no odball colors? if you're gonna go custom and do all that, why not make it count?
I wanted to do a white festiva. my plans were to do orange, pink, sky blue, or takata green wheels. ernst bodykit with the lower spoiler done in zebra (just the spoiler part) carbon fiber hood with his hood scoop. one of the fenders in a zebra print, my valve cover done in a leapordshark, or a pink, and the interior refinished in a peanutbutter, or dark red-orange.

White is the complementary color of black. And black goes pretty good with any color really. If not black, one of the other primary colors.

A satin black engine bay with bright colored accents looks good to me. Green, purple, bright light blue, orange, etc. With a white car I think that kind of engine bay would really set it off.
Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.

              My opinion, red oxide.

Does my opinion matter? Not really. It's not my car.

BTW, NICE job on the fender brace.
