So I know Ford has an automatic foot activated lift gate(hatch) feature on some newer cars and suvs. I cant find much on them for how they work really. Like what all would be needed to make this work. Has anyone maybe looked into this yet. The junk yards around don't have anything in them yet with this on it. Im not sure this is even possible to put on our festivas but thought it might be kinda cool.

I believe it will be similar to adding quarter window motors.
I am content with just having a rear latch actuator. I do not know how the rear hatch lift electronics interact with the latch itself.
I have the extra conduit for additional wiring to go down the right side of the floorpan, but don't really feel like doing it, unless it would look completely stock. -
