Anything that opens from the front backwards is a suicide door

Suicide in the traditional sense...I haven't seen. I have seen butterfly & "lambo" style doors which can be done to pretty much every car.

They could be done on a festiva but not without some reinforced B pillars the weight of the door although not much combined with the leverage of our long doors would rip what ever kind of hinge you would put on.
I looked into it while building mine but figured it was a lot of work to do it RIGHT with little gain. I mean really how often do you have your door open while driving :-)
