It is a single DIN, exactly the same size as a Festiva radio.
A double DIN is what all of the new GPS/radio/console units are nowadays.Last edited by bravekozak; 08-29-2014, 06:25 AM.

SWRT, why don't you wait with me for Rocketman to make that cast aluminum drink holder bracket?
I've already given him the prototype + a little incentive.
It will hold a bigger gulp than that eBay one. I've checked to make sure it doesn't interfere with the shifter.Last edited by bravekozak; 08-29-2014, 10:29 PM.

At $11 shipped we can't go wrong. I think you have a nice find here SWRT. Let us know how it goes. I'm 2nd in line to buy one if you can confirm with pics of it fitting into the radio opening. Don't have to install it, just set it in there and that will be good enough for me.
I'm waiting on the bigger gulp carrier too...Last edited by Gomez; 08-29-2014, 10:43 PM.-Bryant

So I got to looking at it. Pretty confident I'll have to drill some holes in the side of the box
considering it's all one piece. I thought that box was a insert, but it's actually a single piece
with a useless "seam" built into it.1993 Festiva - White/Black - 5 speed

It doesnt pull out. It should be screwed from in behind, with two brackets.
Which one do you have in this picture?
Remove the cubby and take a look from behind.Last edited by bravekozak; 08-31-2014, 06:27 PM.

There's a lot. Mine unscrewed from the side. Definitely a single, molded unit
like the one on the far left. I figure I'll just drill holes through the sides big
enough to fit a screwdriver if I have to. May have to dremel out some of the
back end as it looks like it narrows the further you get towards the back.1993 Festiva - White/Black - 5 speed
