I know this is probably a stupid question , but I found a 4 door mecury tracer in the junkyard today. The dash looked the same as a festiva. Does anyone know if maybe the doors and fenders will fit a festiva. Btw the engine is already gone, so no engine donor. Also he has an aspire. He wants $150.00 for the rear axle and e brake cable. Is that to much to pay?

Not a bad price on axle if it's in good shape with good bearings.
I gave similar price for one with 2 like new tires.
As for body parts no they won't interchange. -

Don't know where you are located but Aspires in e. Canada are long gone from the roads and wrecking yards and if you do find one behind a barn or out in a field the metal is become so soft and corroded that you wouldn't want parts off it anyway.Originally posted by curtisgrace606 View Post

You can't use the rear axle in a festiva. It's an independent rear.

Found an 88 Mercury Tracer today at Charleston LKQ.
There was only 44,000 on the odometer and the car looked good.
Doesn't look like anyone has taken anything off it yet.
I'll get some pictures up as soon as I get them transferred from my phone.
