  • dash pad

I was wondering if anyone had a dash pad and if they had pictures. I have been looking online but the picture is just a generic dash picture they seem cheap enough and should help with keeping the ac cold ,and make the dash look a little better. It's not quite as nice as my other car's dash.
While searching ebay I found this nos dash seems like a good deal but I just reinstalled my dash and don't feel like jumping threw the hoops of getting a vin number riveted on.
    But check this out.

Post pictures of your dash pad and where you bought it thanks in advance!

Shipping $225 doesn't seem like such a good deal to me!
But, if you had to have a new one and money was no object, I suppose you could consider it such.

I've found them for as low as 34 dollars but just the generic dash pad pictures. I would like to know people's experience with these
          Like how they fit/and look.

the nos dash look the same as stock dash. maybe cheaper and easier to mod and paint or glue leather/inlay onto factory dash. I haven't done much leather work but there is plenty of videos out there, I think it would look sexy an all leather festiva and would be nice to change the cheep looking ceiling/sun blinds of festiva. as for mods I've done to my dash I glued non slip table place mats on to it so my phone and other random stuff does not slide off the flat spots on dash

i bought one of the 2 dashes that seller had last year but he was close enough to drive to and pick it up. it's an 88/89 with the coin cubby and unused choke cable hole. notice there is no metal support skeleton but that makes it pretty light and if he took it out of the box and shipped it wrapped there's no way it should cost $225. trouble is the new one looks so nice and rich creamy texture you'll want to get new glove box, speaker covers, clock cover etc. to match.
