  • Side markers blink with turn signals

Wire your front marker lights to blink with the turn signals.
    Easy wiring.
    Looks NICE!
You will need a 12V tester probe.

Remove the front marker light assembly and the front turn signal assembly.
On the marker light, using your 12V probe, determine which wire is 'hot' and which is the ground.
Cut the GROUND wire about 1" - 2" from the light socket.
Splice a 6" piece of wire onto the ground wire that comes from the light socket.
(The end of the ground wire coming from the car does not have to be 'capped' ...because it is a ground wire.)

On the turn signal wires, with the 12V probe, determine which wire is the 'hot' wire.
Splice the 6" wire from the marker light onto the HOT wire of the turn signal light.

When done, flick the turn signal and the marker light will blink with the turn signal. (While the turn signal is lit, the marker will be off, and they will 'wig-wag' back and fourth like that.
Now do the same thing to the other side.
This works no matter if your light switch is on "park", or on "Headlight". or "off".

Did this some years back. Neat free-ish mod. Does *not* work with LEDs.

        Update.
Like I said, I have LED's in mine, THEY DO WORK, but they flash fast.
Today went to AUTOZONE to get an electronic flasher.
The one that came up was shown to be for a '93 Ford Festiva but the terminals are spaced too far apart.
The Festiva terminals are spaced real close together.
Bought it anyway. Made a "jumper cable", plugged it in and Presto! Works like a charm.
Flashes the way it's suppose to.
AUTOZONE part number for the electronic flasher is EP34. About $12.00.
