It looks like I might not be able to transfer the drivers side seat back to my 89 Festiva L seat bottom.
The recline mechanism has a chain and roller for reclining and I don't see how to release the seat back to tilt forward to let passengers in the back.
Anyone had experience with this. The seats are from a 4 door Tracer.
I can adapt the passenger seat back by transferring the seat release lever with the foot pedal from the Festiva back to the Tracer back.
Also the side of the seat covers on the 89 have a reinforcement along the edge and plastic pins that push into hole in the frame.
If someone has done this, how did you attache the sides to the Festiva seat frame?
