  • E5 (hot red) paint

    I was looking to get some touch up paint as my bumpers are faded. I have the E5 hot red. The only thing I can find is E4 at advance auto in a can. Just wondering if anyone that has E5 has used this as I know it's not a perfect match. Maybe the better question is does anyone know where I can find E5?

    Try wax first. You'd be surprised that . The red will come back. I was using krylon banner red, but it seems they have changed it recent and it's not matching as well

      My '93 came with body color bumpers. I decided to change the skins to gray because I hate painting.

          That would be me, check out this post. I picked up a couple of rattle cans from a body shop supply store. Most will put your color of choice into spray cans for you or mix up a batch to be used in a spray gun.

            Or if you don't have spray equipment, you can use this;

            Preval, established in 1969, is the industry leader for spray and touch-up solutions. Preval stands alone in the paint industry.

              Thanks for the advice fastivaca! I just found a local auto refinish supply store that can mix and put it in a can for me. Checked out the rest of your build, awesome! Where can I possibly find bumpers and body trim like that? Looks amazing my friend, can't wait to see the results!!
