I'm a little hunk of tin, nobody knows what shape I'm in. I've got four wheels and a running board, I'm not a Chevy, I'M A FORD!Tags: None

not sure about the aspire mirrors, but I have escort power mirrors on both my festivas. You have to either find a stock festy switch or wire up the escort one, but the rest of the wiring was already in place in both my cars. The only mod required is cutting off about 1/2 inch off the bottom of the triangle part of the mount where it bolts up to the door (very obvious to tell where to cut when you test fit the mirrors). They work great, and they are spring loaded from both sides so you can bend them back and forth and they just snap back into place and don't lose their setting. They are also very plentiful and cheap jys, at least around here. I payed $11 for each set.No festiva for me ATM...

all the '91-'96 escorts will work. I got mine from a '93LX 4-door and the '91GT that I took my BP ECU from. They look and work great, and since the wiring is already in place the only difficult part is rewiring the escort switch (it doesn't fit the festy plug). But I have a diagram for that which I have used in both my cars if anyone wants to see it.No festiva for me ATM...

ok, here's the wiring, in full color too, cause I'm bored and trying to procrastinate from the work I should be doing for my international business and seminar in management courses . The stock festy plug is located on the dash next to the steering wheel behind the little square plate next to the dimmer switch for the dash lights. The way I wired both of mine was to take a small screwdriver and push the plugs one by one out of the festy plug, then use those plugs as crimp connectors and crimp the escort wiring too it. Just match the wire colors up according to the pic, and you should be good to go. Don't forget to wrap each connection with heat shrink or electrical tape to avoid shorting out the circuit.
Note #1... if you have a festy switch you don't have to wire any of this, it is plug and play
Note #2... when you grab the switch from the escort, get the plug and as much of the wire as you can for ease of installation... also grab the short 8" pigtail wires plugged into the mirror, cause the festy may or may not have those in place (but on all festies I've seen the rest of the wiring is in)
Note #3... The escort switch is not the same shape as the festy switch, so it doesn't fit correctly in the hole. You can widen the hole, OR mount the switch diagonally, OR make a little custom plate for the switch to mount on.
Note #4... the reason I have two different colors for the far left wire is because the Haynes manual says BLK/YEL but on both my festys the actual wire has been BLU/YEL
Ok, here it is:

^^ thats what happens when you take 20 hours in one semester... you start doing everything you can to avoid actually studying and doing homework, including draw festy wiring diagrams. I also spent 2 hours last night perfecting the wiring diagram for my custom instrument cluster, lolNo festiva for me ATM...
