The story of this poor car was bad at the start. I work with Postman101 and he was telling me about his red Festiva with ITB's. My parents had one brand new in 1993 and i loved it. I Started look for one to do a BP swap and came across the 91 that had been stripped used for auto cross and ice racing. They had attempted the BP swap but couldn't figure out the wiring and gave up. I picked it up Last April 2015 with the Engine in and aspire swap done. Me and Postman101 spent weeks sorting out wires fuel lines before finally getting it to run. (The wiring was so bad that they had the alternator wires bolted to a ground). When I knew it would run i started welding up the holes in the floor and patching panels. I used a donor car to get most of missing parts. The donor car was picked over for almost every bolt and fitting. Most of the work including the door cards has been done on a limited budget.

The specs on the car are: 1991 base model festiva
with a ford BP motor swapped
Stock 5 speed transmission
Aspire brake swap
wheels are Drag902 14 inch
Tires are Toyo 195R45 14
( The tires came from Postman101"s festiva before he change wheels. he sold them to another Trucktiva owner with a Mazda drive train that used them for a month then stored them until i picked them up. LOL the tires have been on 3 festiva build in this city.)
Suspension is a horrible e-bay coil over kit with cut springs ( the suspension movement is the side walls of the tires.)
I have just got the new Raceland MK-2 coilovers and waiting to install.
From the junk yard salvages i managed to locate a hatch with rear wiper and sprayer, power mirrors. and most resently a rear
spoiler.
