Usually without proper prep work (sanding, primer, sanding, paint...) the stuff will chip off eventually.

I used some stuff that was speially made for interior plastics and while it worked good for a few days, the daily abused parts could be seen chipping in about a week.

just what I was thinking, especially after I saw "Dupli-Color". I'm going with SEM plastic-specific dyes.

Cam used that vinyl spray on the fastiva and and it worked pretty good but if your always bumping it and rubbing it. it flakes of after time. my buddy jamie who owns it now did the rockguard on it first and I like it so much thats where I got the idea from and its durable as hell and gives you a easy upgrade to do in a afternoon on your driveway.

oh and it takes about 3 cans to do the whole interior

Where can I find this RockGuard. I've been using Krylon Fusion for the interior and it looks cool but does wear off with a few hard, solid bumps.

hey Ive always thought that you can't really go wrong with black. Maybe I just missed it but what color was the outside. If you are going to paint it and not sure what color yet, black would have to be your best bet....it works with anything.
