  • Canadian Gauge Clusters

What did Canadadian Festiva's get as far as gauge clusters? Did some come with or without tachometers? I checked on Canada eBay and found nothing.
I may like to buy one (broken or not) if someone has one. Kilometers=no problem.

I have a couple spares. I think they are the same as the usa versions just in km/hr. I have a tach cluster and one without. Most came without here. Ill have a look over christmas at what i have. Not sure if i want to put the tach cluster into my new festiva.
What are you wanting in particular thats different than the usa clusters?

      Ryan,
Do those instruments go to 135kph or 175kph or something else?
Ours only go to 85mph (135kph)
      No car too fast !

Try Ebay Germany. That's where I got my tach'd KPH cluster back in the day. It went to 180KPH.

I currently have a 85mph U.S. cluster. I had grand thoughts of using a KM/hr cluster and simply ignoring the fact it say's Km. Then from there (maybe, possibly, I really don't know??) using a "speedo cable ratio adapter" to try and get my mph to match up with the KM speeds.
            Adapter like these:
            http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=...edirect=mobile if

Not sure if any of these will be useful yet. Also, I will most likely have to get a custom speedo cable setup to have my Festiva cable work with vw tranny that I'm swapping.

Not sure yet what I'm doing. I just don't want to be limited to having a 85mph speedometer is all. The tach in the cluster is not important to me.

I've never seen that before, but that's perfect for correcting the speedo when using the tire size Charlie suggests (they put the car at ~10% slower than indicated speed)
              Trees aren't kind to me...

              currently: 2 88Ls (Scrappy and Jersey), 88LX, 90L(Pepe), 91L, 91GL (Skippy) 93 GL Sport (the Mighty Favakk), 94 (Bruce) & 95 Aspire SEs, 97 Aspire (The Joker),
94 Justy 4WD, 87 Fiero GT, plus 2 parts cars. That's my fleet.

The Festiva speedometer gear has an imperial thread.
