  • Front lip options

Hello group. I'm thinking about modding a front lip for my car. Right now I'm looking at a da integra lip, ae86 lip, crx si lip and generic universal lips. I was wondering if anyone here has modified a polyurethane lip with good results. I don't mind trimming the ends but I'm opposed to cutting and splicing in the middle.

Sometimes I think in pictures, not words

Chop the Demio below the headlights. Flip it upside down and stick it on the DA

Unfortunately we don't have the demio here. I also have a friend whom I've asked to loan me an ef front bumper. That might be an easy option.

Honda Accord front lip on daihatsu charade bumper.
I had to graph it in the middle and all sorts of other mods to get it to bolt up (riveted in mount plates with steel studs and a riveted in lower plate for rigidity.)

There a Charade that entered Pick n Pull in Arlington, Wa on Dec 2nd.

There is a partial pic posted on Row52 website. I have car notifications at that website.

I thought about running up there.....but it's 68 miles from me and I wasted too many hours and miles chasing parts to only be disappointed.

Oh man, I'm supposed to take the gf to Leavenworth for the Bavarian ice festival on my only day off which is Sunday. There's no way I could convince her into letting me make a small detour to go there first.

On a serious note, what the heck is a Bavarian Ice Festival?

A very rare aftermarket 121 grille I picked up from Greece!

It's a long story, I will be updating my build thread soon!
