  • USB ports install

One way to install USB ports in the cigarette lighter hole. I payed less than $10 for the port on the internet, plus it has a 2.1 port for a little quicker charge.

Remove the ash tray for access, then unplug and remove the lighter plug assy

A bit of filing to get the new port to fit in the hole in the dash.

The power plug for the lighter is shaped like a "v" and can easily be cut into 2 seperate halves with a large pair of side cutters (dykes), which then plugged perfectly into the back of my usb port, the blue wire is the positive.

I bought red to match my dash lights.

Any modifications to get your Heater controller to be Red?
Just Bulbs or is there more too it?

The USB port looks great, almost OEM!

Thanks! I put in the red led's to match the stereo, I couldn't find a green stereo I liked.

Heater controller must be a white led, red doesn't show through on the hot side and will appear as if the light is out. It makes the blue side look cool though.
