Today I installed a strip of white led lights inside Nellie's hood.
Got the switch from the junk yard. (I think it was from a 99 Nissan Maxima.)
You have to be careful when you pull one and make sure the contact is complete when the plunger is up. Some work the opposite way.
I ran the wires down inside the hood and followed the Washer hose out to the left side.
I attached the switch to the side. There was an existing threaded hole (6mm) there where it fit perfectly.
Attached the ground wire to that same bolt. For the positive, I soldered a 5 amp fuse inline
to the positive wire put the stripped end in the front main fuse leg and pushed the long leg fuse down over it.
Covered up the wires under the switch with some yellow vinyl tape.
Work Great.
