Tachometer

I was trying to install an after market tachometer for my 1989 festiva L. It is fuel injected, but i can't find a wire that will give me a rpm signal. Is there a specific place i should look, because I've tested alot of wires and none have any results.

Tap the ground wire of the coil. That's standard for most aftermarket tachs. There should also be a tach feed in The cluster harness.

Trees aren't kind to me...

currently: 2 88Ls (Scrappy and Jersey), 88LX, 90L(Pepe), 91L, 91GL (Skippy) 93 GL Sport (the Mighty Favakk), 94 (Bruce) & 95 Aspire SEs, 97 Aspire (The Joker),
94 Justy 4WD, 87 Fiero GT, plus 2 parts cars. That's my fleet.
